It’s nearly time for the final episode of The Big Bang Theory, which will see the popular sitcom finally come to an end after twelve seasons.
The final two episodes – The Change Constant and The Stockholm Syndrome will be shown back-to-back to form an hour-long special.
The show’s creator Chuck Lorre admitted that he broke down in tears once he had finished writing the last episode.
It has also been an emotional journey for the cast, who had their own reunion ahead of the finale being shown in the US tonight.
How to watch The Big Bang Theory finale in the UK
Unfortunately for UK fans of the show, the Big Bang Theory is typically shown at least a week after it airs in the US.
This means that the final two episodes will be shown on E4 as an hour-long special on Thursday 23 May at 8pm.
Fans can also stream the episodes at any time online using the Channel 4 streaming service All4.
So if you’re planning to watch the final Big Bang Theory episodes, you will need to avoid spoilers over the next week as the conclusion to the series will be airing in America tonight at 8pm ET (1am BST).
There have been plenty of theories of what fans could expect to see during tonight’s final episode, with the cast even joking that there can’t be any spin-offs as they all die.
It has also been hinted that the broken lift in the apartment could play an important part in the show, will it finally start working as we say goodbye to the series?
