Chris Evans has revealed a ‘life-changing’ weight loss tip – ditching all drinks with meals.
The presenter opened up about his unusual technique on his radio show, explaining that he drinks 45 minutes before a meal instead of during – and it’s changed his life.
‘I’ve been doing this since Saturday and it has changed my life. Liquid, particularly water, interrupts your digestion,’ the 53-year-old explained.
‘It helps your digestion and you lose weight. We encourage our kids to have a glass of water with dinner but that’s actually the wrong thing to do.’
Plus, Chris, who recently explained he’s only just hopped on the Game Of Thrones bandwagon, revealed he’s knocked off a few pounds with the slightly strange method.
Meanwhile, the star has recently majorly backtracked after pretty much confirming that he’d be taking to the Strictly dance floor in 2019.
The Amazing Spiderman star Andrew Garfield grilled Chris about whether he’d be making moves on the ballroom floor, beginning: ‘This is really the reason I wanted to come and talk to you this morning, because I heard you were maybe going to be on it and I thought…’
‘And you wanted to get your tickets?’ asked Chris.
‘Not even that,’ replied Andrew. ‘Actually, honestly, I think it’s a match made in heaven. On my sabbatical, one of the many things I’ve done and maybe the most important thing I’ve done on my sabbatical, is I’ve realised how important Strictly Come Dancing is, not only for the British public but for me as an individual.’
He continued: ‘When I heard you were going to do it, I thought you have to give the people what they want and that is what everyone in this country wants!’
Instead of giving Andrew a straight answer, Chris moaned: ‘But I’ve got an issue with my left meniscus,’ talking about the cartilage between his shinbone and thighbone.
Andrew didn’t give up the chase there though, and probed: ‘Tell us about this. Tell us really specifically about what is wrong with your knee.’
‘You think I may be bottling it?’ asked Chris. ‘It’s a scary thing to step into.’
