Liam Gallagher’s only gone and started another feud – possibly because he realised he’d gone about ten minutes without kicking off?
This time, the Oasis rocker had it in for the Kaiser Chiefs, calling them a bunch ‘naff c**ts’ and ‘p**flaps’.
We’ve got to hand it to the man, he’s very creative with his insults.
A foul-mouthed wordsmith, if you will.
It all started when Liam pulled out of playing the Fall In Love festival in Bulgaria following the Kaiser Chiefs’ set on September 1, due to safety concerns.
The Kaiser Chiefs tweeted about his decision: ‘If we found out a stage wasn’t safe, we’d tell the other bands on there too, right?
‘Safety comes first for everyone. We must have broken it putting on a rock ’n’ roll show 30mins before you.’
Despite the group not mentioning Liam by name, the rocker managed to get wind of their subtly-veiled jibe.
Never one to shy away from a good, old-fashioned Twitter spat, Liam fired back: ‘This 1s for p***flap out of the Kaiser Cheifs (sic)’.
He went on: ‘All that money you spend on props i.e. your daft-looking head, I’d spend on getting yourself a decent tour manager who spots these kind of things, otherwise you and your band will be going for an early bath.’
Just to really hammer home the message that he’s not impressed, he then added in a quote of lyrical genius: ‘It’s naff c***s like you that give Leeds a bad name. As you were.’
He’s a regular Shakespeare, that one.
The Kaiser Chiefs are yet to respond to the strong words, although frontman Ricky was keen to distance himself from all things feud-like, writing on Twitter: ‘He’s not referring to me. I’ve said nothing. It’s one of the others.’
It’s not the first time old Liam’s been getting mouthy on Twitter.
This past year he’s sparked conflict with the likes of his brother Noel, Noel’s wife Sara MacDonald and Dave Grohl.
Even Boris Johnson felt the wrath of the Gallagher last month.
