The Love Island winner, 22, was a guest panellist on today’s Loose Women, and talk soon turned to her romance with rugby player Greg, 24.
She told the panel: “We’re good, we’re exclusively dating but we’re not official yet.
“Love Island is such a weird situation, we’ve only known each other a month.”
Amber is finally going to visit Greg and his family in Ireland this weekend, and she said that was one of the reasons they aren’t official just yet.
She said: “I think that’s probably part of the reason we’re not official yet, I haven’t met any of his family or anything.
“We’re taking it slowly, [the distance] is going to be hard, but if you want to make something work you put the effort in, you go to the ends of the earth to be with them.”
The couple won the ITV2 reality show after just two weeks together at the end of last month.
While Greg has been to Amber’s hometown of Newcastle, she is only just finding the time to head over to Ireland and meet his loved ones.
Taking to her Instagram, Amber said she couldn’t wait to be reunited with Greg.
