GARY NEVILLE has slammed “disinterested” Paul Pogba for his performance against Barcelona in the 3-0 Champions League defeat at Nou Camp.
The former Red Devils defender claims the Frenchman’s form has recently been disappointing – as it was before the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Gary Neville claims Paul Pogba has been his ‘pre-Solskjaer’ self recentlyReutersPogba’s form was revitalised after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s arrival, but he has only scored against West Ham since FebruaryReutersUnited were outclassed by Barcelona on Wednesday night and dropped 2-0 down just 20 minutes after kick-off thanks to a double from Leo Messi.
Both goals came from errors made by Red Devils players as Ashley Young’s turnover set the Argentine up to open the scoring.
And then Fred’s carelessness, coupled with David de Gea’s howler, granted the Barca star his second with the tie all but over.
However, Neville had a few sour words for Pogba following the game, claiming he has been his “pre-Ole’s arrival” self recently.
The French World Cup winner has scored 11 goals and added seven assist under Solskjaer, who took over at Old Trafford in December.
But since February, the midfielder has only been able to find the net in the 2-0 victory over West Ham, converting a couple of penalties.
Meanwhile, his last assist came in the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace on February 27.
Neville insists Pogba needs to regain focus to show again how much quality he has, as he failed to fulfill his role as team leader at Nou Camp yesterday.

He told beIN Sports: “Pogba’s now playing how he was pre-Ole’s arrival.
“I thought he was really poor, rolling his foot over the ball all the time, playing for himself, not popping it off and moving, didn’t look interested at times.
“But he’s a great player, and can be a great player, he just needs to get that focus back.”
