Robbie Williams has been ‘blasting Black Sabbath’ at Jimmy Page as their row over a building extension rages on.

The pair have been at each other’s throats since the Angels singer received approval to build a basement swimming pool last year – but the Led Zep guitarist is concerned the work will damage his Grade I-listed mansion.

And now, the former Take That star seems to have gone a step further by blasting ‘loud 70’s rock’ when he sees Jimmy outside his home, according to a complaint to the local council, signed by ‘Johnny’.

The complaint goes on to state that ‘what’s been most annoying is Mr. Williams has played rock arch rival bands Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd and Deep Purple.’

It doesn’t end there though.

The complainant mentions how Robbie has been dressing up as Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant in an attempt to ‘mock or imitate Mr. Robert Plant beer belly that he has acquired in his older age.’

According to the letter, this is ’embarrassing’ because ‘Mr. Plant was remembered for performing with his shirt open on stage, and obviously he cannot perform in his current condition.’

It’s a lot to take in.

Page initially objected to the pool being built in Robbie’s £17.5million home because he feared the work could damage his own house.

He even claimed to only play acoustic guitar in the Grade I listed house as the walls are so delicate.

However, Kensington and Chelsea councils urged the famous faces to put aside their differences, and agreed Robbie’s plans at a meeting.

To appease Page and keep his own home safe, a check must be carried out to monitor vibration levels during the work.

Committee chairman councillor Quentin Marshall compared the feud between the two musicians to Brexit, saying: ‘It’s been six months and meeting yesterday feels like another debate that’s been going on in Westminster.

‘It seems actually they are not that far apart if they could just talk about it and sort their diaries.’

At the time, a spokesman for Page said the rockstar would be happy to meet Robbie.

However, it doesn’t look like that’ll be happening any time soon. has contacted reps for Robbie and Jimmy for comment.
