We finally have an air date for The End of the F***ing World series two and it’s looking to be a jam-packed series.

The dark comedy show will be returning to our screens in November, picking up two years after the first series ended with one seriously tense cliffhanger.

TEOTFW tells the story of wannabe killer James, played by Alex Lawther, who is so intent on believing the world around him doesn’t get him that he hatches a plan to kill a school friend.

However, it’s proven easier said than done when he chooses the outlandish Alyssa, and soon the teens go all Bonnie and Clyde and are on the run together and falling in love (amid some seriously twisted complications).

We’ve been treated to a couple of exciting new stills from the show, one featuring Alyssa (played by Jessica Barden) standing in the woods in a cleaners uniform.

‘It’s not easy, what comes after something like that,’ the mysterious caption reads in a caption attributed to Alyssa, ‘You can’t go back to who you were before…’

Spooky!

A second still features new character Bonnie, an outsider with a troubled past and a connection to Alyssa.

Played by Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’s Naomi Ackie, the mysterious character is quoted as saying: ‘I learnt about punishment from a young age. I learnt it happens because of love.’

We’re excited to meet Bonnie, but we have so many questions: namely, where is Alex??? Answers, please!

First airing on Channel 4 in 2017, The End of the F***ing World gained international fame and critical acclaim after hitting Netflix later in the year.

The second series will follow the same pattern, premiering episode one on Channel 4 with the entire series available to binge on All 4 immediately after. Score!

Having covered the entire source material of Charles Forsman’s graphic novel of the same name in the first series, series two are uncharted waters for the team and their fans.

We can’t wait to see how things play out for Alex and Alyssa!
