Angela Deem has had a difficult time on this season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? While worrying about her mother’s health, Angela finally showed her vulnerable side and fans embraced it.
Fans watched as Angela and Michael finally walked down the aisle on the September 13 episode of 90 Day Fiancé. Though it was just aired, the wedding took place on January 27 in Nigeria among Michael’s entire family. The only person there to support Angela was her close friend, JoJo. Angela struggled with her emotions as the ceremony drew closer, wishing her family could be part of the big day. Even though she had to begrudingly vow to obey her husband, the wedding went perfectly and Angela looked great.
Sadly, only a couple days after the wedding, the reality star received news from her daughter that her mother had been rushed to the hospital after Skyla found her unconscious. Angela immediately felt regret for leaving her mother’s side, even though her mom insisted that she go to Nigeria and marry Michael. Fans’ hearts just about broke as Angela filmed herself trying to pack to get back to Georgia. The TLC personality was beside herself and actually at a loss for words. The moment tugged at viewers’ heartstrings, as Angela doesn’t often show her soft, emotional side.
It seems Michael and Angela are the love story that made it to their happy ending, even though most believed Michael wanted a green card and would run for the hills sooner or later. Fans are now well aware that Angela’s mother, Glenda Faye Standridge, passed away in the ICU. Angela was able to make it back to the United States before her mother passed. Fans felt sorry for Angela, as she already had a lot on her plate. She is worried about Michael being granted a visa, taking care of her entire family, and now mourning the loss of her mother.
Who would have thought that TLC viewers would feel empathy for the Georgia peach? But now, fans really think the couple is in it for true love and a happy ending. Hopefully, Michael will be able to join his wife in America soon. But the reality behind that sentiment is not promising, especially since the worldwide pandemic has yet to be contained. The visa process closed for over three months, and only reopened at the end of July. There is no doubt that it will still be a little while before the love birds are reunited.
