GTA Online Adds New In-Game DJs And Radio Station | Screen Rant

Keinemusik and Palms Trax now have residencies at Grand Theft Auto Online’s The Music Locker. Players can also get into new music by turning their radio dial to a couple of additional radio stations, including Still Slipping Los Santos and live transmissions from The Music Locker. These arrivals come on the heels of a few other notable additions to GTA Online in recent weeks.

Just a little over a week ago, Rockstar Games introduced Grand Theft Auto Online’s most massive update yet in the form of the Cayo Perico Heist. The update’s biggest draw consisted of a luxurious private island, but it boasted some other interesting extras, too. For one, the Cayo Perico Heist unleashed The Music Locker, an all-new nightclub complete with a rotating guest list of actual DJs. This very same update debuted two radio stations – Kult FM 99.1, hosted by The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas, and Still Slipping Los Santos, the latter of which has received a “mainstream widespread release.”

Fortunately, GTA Online players can make the most of even more musical highlights. For one, the music group Keinemusik has a residency at The Music Locker on Cayo Perico. Comprised of Adam Port, &ME, and Rampa, Keinemusik creates “forward-thinking electronic music.” Germany-based DJ Palms Trax counts as the other artist taking up a residency. While Palms Trax’s specialty is of the dance and electronic variety, he’s known for blending old-school house with “exotic strains of disco” and UK underground. Since these folks need help settling into their roles, players should keep an eye out for messages regarding a fresh batch of DJ missions. In terms of radio, the pirate radio project from Joy Orbison, Still Slipping Los Santos, is now widely available. This is thanks to players who participated in finding the hidden radio antennas. Plus, live transmissions from The Music Locker are accessible via radio stations as well.

This wealth of extra content will no doubt give players plenty of reasons to further explore Cayo Perico, all while enjoying new music. It also helps round out a pretty busy year for the game in general. And there’s no telling what the crew at Rockstar Games has in store once next year rolls around.

Earlier in the week, the studio unleashed a holiday update, adding snowfall and a host of extras to the mix. Festive decorations are scattered across the world, while various vendors host sales centered around seasonal items. Players won’t want to miss out on the freebies included in GTA Online’s holiday update either, which ranges from masks and sweaters to a care package and the Grotti Brioso 300.
