Florence Pugh and Zach Braff’s relationship has been the subject of criticism due to their 20-year age gap.

But that didn’t stop the couple packing on the PDA as Florence, 24, celebrated her first Oscar nomination.

The star kissed the Scrubs star while holding a bottle of champagne as she reacted to the news that she is nominated for best supporting actress at the Academy Awards for her role as Amy March in Little Women.

After a day of press interviews in West Hollywood to discuss her nomination, Florence emerged from the London Hotel and went straight into the arms of Zach, 44.

Braff, dressed in a grey hoodie and green tracksuit bottoms, was pictured hugging the actress and sharing a kiss with her outside the hotel.

Meanwhile, Florence – who was a bit more dolled up in a floral tea-length dress and heels – clutched onto her phone and a bottle of bubbly behind Zach’s back.

Florence and Zach, who worked together on the short film In the Time It Takes to Get There, have been dating since April 2019, and have shut down backlash to their age gap in the past.

In December, a fan commented ‘You’re 44 years old’ when Zach left a princess emoji on a picture of his girlfriend.

Florence – who is set to star in Black Widow alongside Scarlett Johansson – fired back: ‘And yet he got it 👌🏽.’

Zach is best known for playing JD in the long-running medical comedy Scrubs, as well as his critically acclaimed role in cult indie classic Garden State, and previously dated Mandy Moore.

Outside of defending her relationship, British star Florence has been pretty busy.

The actress received rave reviews for her performance in Greta Gerwig’s Little Women, culminating in an Oscar nomination.

Florence had been asleep when her name was announced, but discovered the news while topless in bed – and proceeded to scream at her phone.

The Midsommar star is up against Kathy Bates (Richard Jewell), Laura Dern (Marriage Story), Scarlett Johansson (Jojo Rabbit) and Margot Robbie (Bombshell).
